Electrical Heat Tracing in Hazardous (Ex) Areas
Safety is the key requirement, when electrical heat tracing circuits operate in hazardous areas. A Hazardous Area is a location where combustible gases, liquids and other substances are stored, transported or processed.
The eltherm organisation is officially certified by ATEX and IECEx. In addition, many eltherm products and solutions are approved for hazardous areas in according to national or regional standards, including USA, Canada, Russia, China and South Africa.
We are also official member of international electrical heat tracing standards committees, including IEC 60079-30-1 and -2, IEC 62395-1 and IEEE 515 (US).
